Clinical-Demographic Variables and Compliance with Home Programme among Nigerian Informal Caregivers of Children with Cerebral Palsy

Background and Purpose of Study: Prescription of home exercise programme is a common component of physiotherapy intervention in managing children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Home programme has been shown to accelerate the success of rehabilitation intervention and improve motor functions in the patient. Many factors related to the caregiver are thought to influence their compliance with home programmes. Such factors have however not been studied among Nigerian informal caregivers of children with cerebral palsy.
